Soft Palms is a Long Beach-based duo consisting of Julia Kugel (vocalist/guitarist for The Coathangers) and her husband, Scott Montoya (former drummer/producer for The Growlers). Together, they construct atmospheric, ethereal, and analog-driven soundscapes from their home studio, the Centre of Mental Arts (COMA).
